"X4OX" Oxenhope private airstrip. Description: This airfield sits onto of a valley, overlooking the villages of Haworth & Oxenhope. Haworth home of the Bronte sisters famous for their novels such as "Wuthering Heights". The is also a preserved steam railway that runs the length of the valley from Oxenhope, all the way down to Keighley (Keighley & Worth Valley Light Railway). The airstrip sits right next to a caravan park (Upwood) and offers a place to stay the night or camp. Beware the walls at each end of the runway. The emergancy services are over 7 mins away !!!
